- As much as it hurts me to do so, I have decided to create a blog. (I know I know, Kira? A blog? I don't believe it). I figured this would be the best way to put up pictures and share my days in Mali! Hope you all enjoy!!

i finally got on the interwebs and read your blog! these fancy contraptions scare me, that's why i leave all the "reading" and "writing" to tanna. the pictures are fantastic, favorite part is the "senior bar crawl" on your t-shirt. way to bring college to Mali. keep it going in africa!

the fact that all this is real still has not sunk in for me. like..gather round festively dressed children, its time to squat in the dirt near a pot of food.
also, are you allowed to wear pants or do you have to wear skirts (they're gorgeous, but i'm just curious)
